About The Foundation

Our son, Eli, was a brave, spunky, faith-filled little boy born with complex congenital heart disease. He faced life-threatening medical needs that required constant care, specialists, therapists, and multiple surgeries resulting in long hospital stays far from home. Through it all, Eli had joy and he delighted in sharing the love of Jesus with all he came in contact with.

He prayed for his nurses, he encouraged his doctors and told everyone he met about the Lord and His great love for them. His testimony taught us all that faith can shine brightest in the hardest and darkest of places, and if you have Jesus, you truly have it all.

Eli ultimately passed away on November 29, 2024 after his 6th open heart surgery. Out of our great loss, Eli’s Heart Foundation was born. We endeavor to be the hands and feet of Jesus for families walking through medical crises. We have been there and know that no parent should have to walk alone. No family should have to choose between being by their child’s bedside and paying their bills, affording gas, food, lodging, or medical necessities.

Through the generosity of faithful partners, Eli’s Heart Foundation endeavors to provide practical financial support to families facing overwhelming costs related to their child’s critical or complex medical care.

This includes assistance with:

• travel expenses

• lodging near hospitals

• meals during extended stays

• essential healthcare-related costs

• limited educational and tuition support for families whose lives have been disrupted by long-term medical care

• help with unexpected bereavement costs

It is Eli’s Heart Foundation sincere desire to come alongside families in their most fragile moments, reminding them they are not alone, their child’s life has purpose, their family is seen, and God’s grace is still enough.
